AVO Cafe is expected to introduce their plant-based restaurant in the Carlsbad community after closing in Santa Monica in late 2021. AVO stands for All Vegan Organic, which looks to bring healthy options to The Island food court next.
Established in 2018, AVO Cafe serves health-focused and approachable plant-based dishes. Featuring sauces and dressings made in house, AVO Cafe will serve a mix of grain bowls, signature salads, paninis, burgers, and pizzas.
On their beverage menu, expect smoothies, refreshing organic drinks like kombucha, and specialty lattes made with ingredients known for their health benefits like Turmeric and Chaga. Their AVO Elixir hot beverage features Chaga, cacao, maca, coconut sugar, your choice of plant-based milk, and cinnamon.
Owners Sher and Mark Kopman produce and distribute their superfood dips, dressings, and sauces in bottle form. Their social media teases the potential to see the AVO-branded products on shelves at local health food stores soon.
