According to their logos on social media, they’ll specialize in serving up “fast food, not junk food.” Luckily, their new space comes with a drive-thru from the former bank location.

619 Taco Shop is a new concept from Owner Emanuel Herrera of Culichitown in Vista. Culichitown is a franchise brand that started in 2010 by Southern California Chef Misael Guerrero. There are now 14 Culichitown restaurants in operation.

While we’re positive 619 Taco Shop will specialize in San Diego style Mexican food, menu details still remain scarce as they continue to plan the new business. According to their Google Business listing, we can expect an opening on February 7, 2022. For updates, follow them on Instagram.
